Who we are
Founded in 2022, 1st Step Academy is a sports academy dedicated to developing girls and young athletes through basketball and volleyball.

At the academy, we are committed to a safe, supportive, respectful and inclusive environment for girls from all backgrounds. We welcome girls who wear the hijab, and we make sure every player feels comfortable, respected and confident, free to play, train and compete in a way that suits her needs and her privacy.

Our programs
Every age, every level
Our programs are open to all ages and levels, from girls taking their very first steps in sport to players working to sharpen their skills and reach higher levels of competition.

Stronger players, more confident girls
Through basketball and volleyball, we don't only aim to develop stronger players. We set out to build girls who are more confident, stronger, more disciplined and ready to face challenges, carrying the values they learn in sport into every part of their lives.
